The Dancing with the Stars professional spent her first day of vacation in beautiful Maui not by lying on the pristine beach, but speed walking around the grounds of her five-star hotel with her mother.
Cheryl, who arrived in Maui on Wednesday with her mother Sherri Burke, is staying at the fabulous Four Seasons Resort in Wailea.

But that gorgeous view and fresh ocean air was enough to get Cheryl's energy going and heart pumping.
The 28-year-old dancer was spotted on Thursday with a light weight in one hand and a cell phone in the other during her brisk stroll through the resort's luxurious gardens.

Cheryl, who is a spokesperson for a Macy's line of fitness clothes, took to Twitter to share a word with her followers: 'Just finished a great workout in my Ideology wear by @macys!!'
Cheryl protected her eyes from the glare with large sunglasses and she wore her dark hair in a tight bun.

Cheryl owes Sherri a lot - it was her mother, a nurse-turned-entrepreneur, who worked long hours establishing a healthcare company so she could afford to give her daughter many opportunities such as ballet lessons.
The dance competitor owes her healthy lifestyle to her mum, who always made sure she and her siblings ate home-cooked meals when they were growing up in San Francisco, California.
Cheryl admits that she doesn't have her mother's talent for cuisine, saying: 'I don't cook at all - I'm horrible.'
Now that she's such a success, Cheryl can afford to take her mother out to the best places that money can afford.
